From Moon to Moon
I sigh and swoon
at the bold undressing
of My Lady of Night
Enrobed, she greets
the Sun and meets
those travelers whose Heavens
are woven with Hers
I rest and dream and I am the Moon
I plot and plant and I am the Moon
I weep as the Moon
I petition the Moon
I cover myself in the dark of the Moon
She slips off her shoes
and the sight of it moves
me to travel in dreams
to further horizons
Emerging, She opens to
magics converging
and lights a path forward
to new ways to Be
Supplicants rise and I am the Moon
Horned owl cries and I am the Moon
I write as the Moon
I wink at the Moon
I bare a round breast, half-dressed as the Moon
Whole in Her glory
Queen of song, crone of story
Ancestor, Maiden
She holds all of time
With smoke and flame
I honor Her Name
Luna, Diana, Arianrhod, Rhiannon
Artemis, Cerridwen, Hecate, Selene
I shout and shine and I am the Moon
I sing and work and I am the Moon
I dance as the Moon
I burn with the Moon
I pour into my body, replete with the Moon
Her celestial dancing
continues, entrancing
me, holding my gaze
as she draws the dark to Her
I dissolve into water
the Moon’s Earthly daughter
as She soars over burrow
and wolf den and hive
The sea is my first home and I am the Moon
The dripping trees call me and I am the Moon
I ebb with the Moon
I release to the Moon
Sated and softened, I merge with the Moon
In raiment once more,
made of shadow and lore,
veiled from my eyes
She still works upon me
Her end my beginning
Her platinum limning
my every endeavor,
my Will and my Power
Clouds fill the sky and I am the Moon
My hands warm with healing and I am the Moon
I am taught by the Moon
I make love to the Moon
My spiral, unending, belongs to the Moon
